Precyse's Auditing line of business offers employees an exciting opportunity to work independently as well as be a part of a dynamic team that is working together to achieve both company and client goals. Colleagues are able to learn varied hospital systems and documentation practices while working for facilities of all sizes.

It is a constantly evolving and challenging work environment, whether the colleague is travelling or at home. Precyse Auditing offers a career opportunity with diversity, as auditors may even work on different clients in the same week. Our road warriors, in addition to our on-site and remote colleagues, have the best of both worlds: support from the Precyse team and support from the client.

The Precyse Auditing team consists of 27 full-time and PRN colleagues located nationwide. Each member of the Auditing management team was promoted from within the ranks, proving career advancement is not only possible, it's encouraged.

Upon hire, an orientation action plan is created specific to each colleague based on what type of auditing they will be performing. Most training is completed remotely, while some training for traveling Auditors will be completed at the client site with an auditing mentor.

Colleagues will continue to be mentored and trained throughout their employment, offering continued contact and support with management. In addition, Auditors can call on their fellow Auditors and utilize Precyse Assist for additional back-up with coding questions. The Auditing team also has a specific HR representative and a Compliance department available for support.

Precyse offers a wealth of educational materials, such as Precyse University 24x7, to prepare colleagues for ICD-10. In addition, Precyse has an annual presentation on the I-9/DRG and CPT/APC updates, as well as a compliance update annually. Precyse prides itself on providing ongoing communication, support and education for all colleagues.

What we look for:
  • RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS/P or CPC
  • 3+ years of coding experience including inpatient and/or outpatient and/or professional fee coding skills, required
  • 1+ year of auditing experience including report-writing expertise, required
